Supporter Rewards
Thank members who wear your server tag with a role and a personal message. Add daily streaks and tier rewards with Advanced Mode.

What it does
Supporter Rewards thank members who wear your server tag on their Discord profile. Tiko can:
- Give them a Supporter Role for as long as they wear it.
- Post a thank-you message in a channel you choose.
Advanced Mode adds daily streaks, five supporter tiers, a role for each tier, and a daily streak post with a tier card.
Supporter Rewards starts off. Turn it on when your setup is ready.
Before you start
Your server needs a server tag. Discord unlocks tags for some servers; set yours up in Server Settings → Server Tag. Without one, Supporter Rewards does not appear in the setup panel.

Tiko needs:
- Manage Roles, with its highest role above the Supporter Role and every tier role.
- View Channel and Send Messages in the thank-you channel.
- Embed Links for embeds. Without it, the message is sent as plain text.
- Attach Files for tier cards in Advanced Mode.
Opening the panel
- Open the Setup Dashboard with
/setup. - Press More Rewards at the bottom.
- Next to Supporter Rewards, press Setup.
The More Rewards page also has an Enable / Disable button for Supporter Rewards. ← Back returns to the dashboard.
Only the person who opened the panel can use it. It closes after 24 hours; open it again from the Setup Dashboard. Press Done to close it yourself.
Set up rewards
1. Turn it on
Press Enable beside the heading. Picking a role or channel alone does not turn rewards on.

2. Pick the Supporter Role (optional)
Under Supporter Role, pick a role, or press Create to make a plain “Supporter” role with no permissions.
Any member can earn it, so the role must be safe to hand out:
- It must be below Tiko's highest role.
- It cannot be a managed or bot role.
- It cannot have staff permissions such as Administrator, Manage Server, Manage Roles, Kick, or Ban, including in channel permission overrides.
If a role breaks these rules, a note appears under the picker and role rewards pause until you fix it. Nothing is given or taken away while paused.
3. Pick the Thank-you Channel (optional)
Under Thank-you Channel, pick where Tiko posts thank-yous. If Tiko cannot post there, the panel shows I can't post in #channel.
You can use a role, a channel, or both. Changes save as soon as you pick them.
4. Customize the message (optional)
The Thank-you Message row shows Default or Custom. Press Edit to open the message editor.
Who earns rewards
A member earns rewards when Tiko sees them put your tag on, either by switching it on in their profile or by joining your server while wearing it. Bots never count.
- Already wearing it when rewards were enabled? Those members do not get the role or a thank-you until they take the tag off and put it back on.
- Taking it off removes the Supporter Role. Putting it back on gives it back.
- Leaving the server removes the role.
- Turning rewards off, or clearing or deleting the role, removes the roles Tiko gave.
Tiko only removes roles it gave. If you give the Supporter Role to someone yourself, Tiko never takes it away.
If a role Tiko gave goes missing, Tiko gives it back within about 15 minutes while the member still wears the tag.
The thank-you message
Tiko posts a thank-you when a member puts the tag on, at most once a day per member. Turning rewards on never floods the channel with posts for people already wearing the tag.
By default, the post mentions the member and shows a small embed: Thank you for wearing our tag!, in your Supporter Role's colour.
Only the supporter is pinged. The message never pings @everyone, @here, or other members.
Customize the thank-you message
Press Edit on the Thank-you Message row. The editor works like the welcome message editor:
- A public preview shows the message and its controls.
- Edit the message text, embed title, description, colour, fields, author, footer, thumbnail, and image. Images can be linked or uploaded.
- Variables shows the placeholders you can use.
- Reset Draft restores the default in your draft.
- Save & Close saves your changes. Nothing saves until you press it.

The usual member and server variables work too, including <@user>, {nickname}, {user_avatar}, {server_name}, and {server_icon}.

Advanced Mode
Advanced Mode adds daily streaks and tiers to your basic rewards. Press Enable Advanced at the bottom of the panel, beside Done. Disable Advanced turns it off again and keeps your basic setup.
The Advanced Mode row shows Off, On, or On · N on a streak once streaks are counting.
Streaks
- A support day runs from 08:00 UTC to 08:00 UTC the next day, like daily rewards.
- A day counts once the member is seen wearing your tag during it.
- If a member takes the tag off, their streak survives if they put it back on by the end of the next support day. After that, it starts over.
- Hours when Tiko is offline do not break anyone's streak.
- Turning rewards or Advanced Mode off, or removing Tiko from the server, counts as everyone taking the tag off.
The same eligibility rule applies: members already wearing the tag must take it off and put it back on before they start building a streak.

Tier roles
Each tier can have its own role. Press Setup on the Tier Roles row to open the tier page.
- Pick a role for each tier, or press Create beside one to make a coloured “Pearl Supporter”, “Jade Supporter”, and so on.
- Create all or Create missing makes every missing tier role at once, ordered Moonstone at the top down to Pearl.
- Press Back to return to the main page.
A supporter holds only the role of the highest tier they have reached that has a role. Reaching a new tier swaps the old tier role for the new one. Taking the tag off removes tier roles. You do not need a role for every tier.
Tier roles follow the same safety rules as the Supporter Role. If any tier role is unsafe, the panel shows Tier roles are paused. Fix them in Setup. No tier roles change until it is fixed. The Supporter Role cannot also be used as a tier role.
Daily streak post
In Advanced Mode, the thank-you becomes a daily streak post. Tiko posts once for each new support day a supporter reaches, including their first day. This replaces the basic thank-you, so members still get at most one post a day.
The default is a plain message with no embed: the member's mention, Thank you for wearing our tag!, and a tier card showing their pendant, streak, and progress to the next tier.
If the card cannot be attached, for example because Tiko lacks Attach Files, the post shows a short line with the tier and streak instead.
The Advanced thank-you message
With Advanced Mode on, the message row becomes Advanced Thank-you Message. It has its own Default/Custom message, separate from the basic one. Press Edit to customize it; the preview uses your own streak and card.

A custom message only shows the card where you write {supporter_card}.
Turning it off
Press Disable in the panel or on the More Rewards page. Tiko removes the roles it gave and stops posting.
Your role, channel, messages, and Advanced Mode setting are kept for when you turn it back on.
Troubleshooting
