Leveling system
Set where level-ups appear, stop spam channels from giving XP, add level roles, and customize the message members see. Automatic setup can handle the starting settings for you.
/setup → Fine-tune → Leveling System → SetupBefore you start
You need Manage Server, Manage Roles, and Manage Channels for every leveling command and button.
- Tiko needs Send Messages and Attach Files where it posts level-ups. The level card is an image.
- For level roles, give Tiko Manage Roles and place its role above every level role in Server Settings → Roles.
- Tiko needs Administrator for automatic setup. Manual setup works without it.
Start with automatic setup
- Run
/setup→ Fine-tune → Setup next to Leveling System. - Press Start under Automatic setup.
- Wait for the progress message and review the summary.
- Notifications
- Turns level-up messages on.
- Channel
- Chooses a channel for level-up messages. You can change it afterward.
- Roles
- Sets up level roles that you can review and change afterward.
Review the channel and roles in the result. You can also use /setup → Auto Setup to configure leveling with your other server features.
Set it up yourself
Run /levelconfig setup, or use /setup → Fine-tune → Leveling System → Setup. Press Done when finished.
Level-up notifications
Click Enable next to Leveling System in Fine-tune, or use /levelconfig toggle enabled:True. Notifications are off by default. Turning them off hides level-up messages; members still earn XP and rewards.
Level-up channel
Use Pick a level-up channel… in the panel to always post there. Leave it unset to post in the channel where the member was chatting. Clear removes a selected channel.
XP-excluded channels
Click Manage next to XP-excluded channels. Add Channels can select several at once; Remove Channels restores XP, and View Current lists exclusions. Good candidates are bot-command, counting-game, and other spam-heavy channels.
/spam channel #channel excludes a channel; /spam remove #channel includes it again. Omit the channel to use the one you're in.
Add level roles
In the leveling panel, click Configure next to Level roles. Tiko gives a member each role when they reach its level. Members keep earlier level roles as they advance.
- Press + Add Role.
- Pick a role, enter the level it unlocks at, then press Confirm.
To stop assigning a role, press - Remove Role, select its level, then press Remove. Members who already have the role keep it. Tiko must be able to manage every role you select.
Customize the level-up message
The default is a member ping and a generated level card. To edit it, click Customize next to Notification message in Fine-tune or the leveling panel, or run /levelconfig message. A live preview updates above the controls.
✓ Save & Close saves your text and embed changes. Disable / Enable Embed switches between text only and text plus embed.
