Drop system
Let conversation trigger lootbox drops. Pick one primary chat channel for the drop cards; up to three extra channels can contribute activity.
/setup → Fine-tune → Drop System → SetupGet drops running
You need to own the server or have Manage Server permission.
- Choose the primary channel. Run
/setupin your server. If Tiko asks where your community talks, pick a regular text channel. If the Control Center opens directly, use the channel button on the Drops · XP · Welcomes row. - Add extra channels if you want them. In the Control Center, open Fine-tune → Drop System → Setup. Select up to three extra text channels. Each selection saves immediately.
- Turn drops on. Back in Fine-tune, click Enable on the Drop System row. If the button says Disable, drops are already on.
Adding channels does not enable drops. You can use only the primary channel if you prefer.
Where activity counts
- Primary channel
- Its messages count toward drops, and this is where every drop card appears. Change it with the Drops · XP · Welcomes channel button in the Control Center.
- Extra channels
- Their messages count too, but cards still appear in the primary channel. In Drop System → Setup, add up to three or click Remove to take them out.
Give Tiko channel access
In the primary channel, allow View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Attach Files. In each extra channel, allow View Channel so Tiko can count activity.
Changes save as you make them. Done only closes the private panel. To change the primary channel, use the Control Center rather than Remove.
How drops and claims work
Messages in the primary and extra channels build toward randomized drop thresholds. Different members need to take turns: repeated messages from the same member do not advance the counter. Bot activity does not count.
When a card appears in the primary channel, members click Open it to enter. After the first entry, others have about 10 seconds to join. Each member enters once, and Tiko picks a random winner from the entrants. If nobody joins, the card is removed.
If drops are not appearing
In Fine-tune, check that the Drop System button says Disable (meaning it is on). Confirm a primary channel is selected and Tiko has the permissions above. Only member conversation in the selected channels counts, and drops do not follow a fixed timer.
Channel or panel trouble?
Cannot add a channel: use a regular text channel, check whether it is already listed, and free a slot if all three extras are in use.
Panel stopped responding: it expires after about two minutes. Run /setup again and reopen Fine-tune → Drop System → Setup.
