About Tiko
Most Discord servers have members, but not always a reason to choose one over another, even when they share the same topic. Tiko gives each server its own identity and gives members more reasons to come back, talk, and take part.
Tiko provides each server with its own economy, then connects that economy to activities that make the server more engaging, such as messaging, welcoming and talking to new members, reviving chat, boosting the server, and returning daily. It also gives admins useful tools like custom bot profiles and customizable welcome, level-up, revival, and booster embeds. Users can also spend their currency on doing activities that encourage social bonds and give members more ways to interact.
Tiko is simple to set up too.
The main process being, Add Tiko, set its permissions, run /setup, and choose a chat channel. Most features can then be enabled with one click, even with little technical experience.
Tiko’s Auto Setup configures leveling, booster rewards, welcome rewards, welcome messages, lootbox drops, and bump reminders automatically in under 30 seconds.
Who Tiko is for
Tiko is intended for communities where members value aesthetics and regularly communicate and participate for socialization purposes.
Examples may include Social, Hangout, Aesthetic, Cozy / Café, Safe Space, Kawaii, Dating, E-Girl / E-Boy, K-Pop, Anime Social, Genshin, Decor, Stox and Ntox servers.
While their topics differ, these communities share a focus on visual identity and social interaction. Tiko supports that focus with features that fit each server’s style.
Tiko is also designed for admins who want advanced features without a complicated setup process. Both technical and non-technical admins can configure Tiko directly in Discord, without reading lengthy documentation, signing into an external website or having to compromise on customization.
How Tiko works
The biggest thing that sets Tiko apart is that its features are interconnected. Tiko provides each server with its own economy, then connects that economy to activities that make the server more engaging, such as messaging, welcoming and talking to new members, reviving chat, boosting the server, and returning daily.
Unlike most Discord bots, which keep levels, currency, minigames, and rewards for server-specific activities separate, Tiko connects them to be meaningful together while also giving users the option to use a standalone feature.
What makes Tiko different?
Leveling. Tiko has the usual XP, level roles, and leaderboards, but every level-up comes with an aesthetic card styled around that member's avatar. Levels matter after the card too: they improve pay and open up better lootboxes, tools, minigames, quests, and farming. Unlike the traditional approach of adding “more features” Tiko's focus is to provide what members care about.
Economy. Traditional economy bots usually pay people for running bot commands. Tiko still gives members plenty to grind, but it also pays them for things that are good for the server: chatting, welcoming and talking to new members, reviving chats, boosting, and coming back each day. Take farming. It is fun for the person playing it, but on its own it does nothing for the server. In Tiko, farming is tied to levels, and those levels come from chatting and completing quests that often send members back into the community. Members can use what they earn to interact with each other too. Aura gifts turn currency into something social: both people gain Aura, and mutual gifting builds Duo scores, profiles, and leaderboards. Keeping things fun while increasing social bonds.
Boosters are not left with only a thank-you notification. Even though admins can fully customize the boost notification for the server. The boosters also get faster XP, Hospitality points for server roles chosen by the admins, and Hyper Gems for personalizing their role in the Custom Role Studio with styles such as Coquette, Kawaii, Dreamy, Gothic, Pastel, Cozy, and Velvet. If they keep boosting, Tiko rewards them again every month, giving members reason to keep boosting the server.
Bump system. Every server gets its own working 24-hour clock, styled around its icon and colours. Each reminder shows the current Pacific time, with member portraits filling two-hour slots as they bump throughout the day. Bumpers also receive a thank-you card styled from their avatar, and admins can customize both messages directly in Discord. See the clock and cards.
Setup is easy too. There is no long guide, tutorial, or third-party dashboard to get through first. Run
/setup, select the chatting channel and switch on the features you want, and configure them right there. Or even easier, Click the start button on the setup panel for auto setup, to setup major features under 20 seconds. Tiko's smart automatic setup is equipped with an automatic channel detection and role detection system so Tiko analyzes what your server already has, decides where channels and roles belong, reuses existing settings where possible, and creates what is missing to match your server's theme. Admins still decide how all of this fits their server. They can change the important messages/embeds, choose which features to use, and set everything up around the community they already have. The bot should fit the server, not the other way around.
